Seeing the full page redactions in today's #Epstein release will be familiar to anyone who's been following the #ufo subject for the past few years.

I'm glad that more people are being exposed to this practice. Overclassification has gotten way out of control. At a certain point, we don't really have freedom anymore if unelected Spooks get to decide what we as a people do and don't get to see.

That's always the justification in the UFO case. Things like, a video taken by a pilot of some unusual object seen from the cockpit will be classified TOP SECRET... Then they go and release crystal-clear close-up photos of Russian jets dumping fuel on drones in Ukraine.

In this case, it's what? Protecting the victims? This happens all the time in court filings, they block out names and addresses... or call them "Jane Doe" etc...
