Haven't pulled them out for a few years now, but I can confirm fire poi are awesome.
Back in my late teens I had an arrangement with an entertainment company where they would send me out to events to perform. Made all my own costumes too.
It was a really fun period in my life, even if it was short-lived. There is a certain joy in performance. A shared experience with a crowd as you take them on a journey. It's addictive.
Been nearly a decade since I've done any of that, but I cherish the memories.
That is awesome 😊 I can relate to being sent to do demonstrations, though never with fire personally. I can understand the excitement though :) thank you for sharing that with me 🤝
