I've got it in my notes somewhere. I'll dig it up later. It's just too nice out to spend too much screen time today. 😅

That was easy.

There are also less expensive versions, too.

The next issue is DIY filtration media...

This one also caught my eye. I like the way this one mounts.

Plumber here, neither of those filter housings posted will fit your RO system. We use APEC at our company, I have the same unit as you installed at my house.

Yeah...not sure what other guy was getting at. No stainless steel canisters for APEC systems exist from what I can tell

Do not let perfection be the enemy of good is what I always say. Like you said in another comment, RO is the best we have right now.

I just recently learned that RO is pretty acidic so I bought this filter that should alkaline the water and attempt to add some minerals back into the water on its way to the faucet. I’ll post the link if you’re curios. I haven’t received the filter yet so can’t do any TDS or PH testing.

This is a referral link for a coupon, I’m not affiliated, just saw this in my email inbox, feel free to use or not.

Yes, I remineralize my water manually in my jug with trace minerals and salt to have the same effect and I have more control over it.

But, you don't need to be too worried about the ph of the water. It's not low enough to affect your teeth enamel imo and your intestines/stomach are relatively acidic and want to stay that way

Ok good to know. I’m not entirely convinced that the water will pick up anything useful passing so quickly through that filter anyways. What’s your remineralization process?

Concentrace Trace Minerals + a quality salt (I use Redmonds but recommend Jacobsen)

Both can be purchased on Amazon
