i just composed a half a page long post but i couldn't see what i was replying to so i tried to open what i was replying to in a new / larger window and it closed the page with my post and when i went back it wasn't there anymore ...
the issue is simple - noStrudel should stop you with a warning " if you do this you will lose the post you are composing are you sure you want to do this or do you want to go back ? "
now i know in some cases noStrudel simply saves your post so you can go back to it, but in this case it was a REPLY so i can see how it is feasible to save ONE post that you're composing for the timeline but you can potentially have INFINITE number of replies composed and not posted and saving them all may not be feasible ...
however it IS feasible to give people a warning when they are about to lose text they have composed and give them an opportunity to cancel the action and go back to editing the post ...
