I did all of mine through hostinger.com on Wordpress. You can get a domain from somewhere like namecheap if you want the best deal

The /.well-known/Nostr.json goes in the file directory of your site

There are also guides for GitHub pages instead of Wordpress but I personally found that to be more complicated
