I’ve become a huge fan of using liquid over the past year 🔥

TLDR best use case?

swap custodial lightning to liquid in smaller amounts then what makes sense for an onchain bitcoin tx (especially in high fee environment), gets value under your control in a utxo format. Can later consolidate swap for mainchain if desired

That makes a lot of sense. 🙏

Thank you mate

💯 I use it as a holding place between lightning and on chain. It’s also just good for transacting because there are no concerns about keeping channels online or balancing liquidity. It’s not great for micropayments (such as the extremely small amounts people tend to zap) due to the fees but for payments and pocket money amounts, it’s great, ESPECIALLY when on chain fees are high.

+ confidential transactions

💯

Just curious, when you peg in and out of liquid is that a taxable event?
