This guy is getting memed on hard for his ridiculous, entitled post.

Of course he’s the one missing out, and no-one owes him anything.

There is a kernel of truth here though - Bitcoiners suck at framing. You can’t sell anyone on anything if you don’t control the frame.

This is why you can’t argue with leftists - they are always in their own frame and unable to be coaxed out of it. They redefine terms to suit their frame, they’ll contradict themselves in the same sentence even, but so long as they are in their frame you’ll get nowhere and might as well have a conversation with a wall.

Same reason why so few leftists get Bitcoin.

Learn framing and how to wield it.

This is dumb that makes the fella actually comedy genius.

If Bitcoin "iS a ScAm" everyone holding it should be willing to flip it to anyone else willing to pay the price. This is estremely far from the truth.

Again, comedy genius.

I agree with Saifedean that bitcoin will be adopted like gunpowder.... People will learn, whether it's the easy way or the hard way.

Shill the people you love, teach those who want to learn, and fuck the rest.

I would agree with you some years ago but we start to have a lot of books explaining Bitcoin even approaching people in different ways. We have hundreds of hours of excellent podcast content, we now have media videos on YouTube with Bitcoin content that is documentary like. We are no longer selling. Contrary to finance Bitcoin is more akin to science more so than the financial system and education is the approach.

I have to disagree. This is a strength not a weakness of the Bitcoin community. The knowledge and sharing is there if the individual wants to learn, but if you don't want to do the work, you will get ridiculed and rightly so.

You’re disagreeing with a different point than the one I made.

Framing is not a strength amongst Bitcoiners. If it were, Devs would be able to garner consensus more readily, “intrinsic value” wouldn’t be a constant point of discussion, Greenpeace wouldn’t have even tried to take on Bitcoin mining etc.

Too often we operate in other peoples frame rather than taking the time and applying the focus to set our own.
