Clients could detect languages and label each note with an “L” tag for the language, this could help find content on nostr specific to languages, also filter out content in languages that the user does not know, do you think this is a good idea?

Same thing could be done via user defibed patterns. No need for a new tag.

User defined pattern search is such a powerful tool, but It is not utilized. Hopefully it will get implemented in most clients sooner or later.
