Is this about her being a woman or about the difference in expertise? Just trying to understand the question.
If it’s the first: I don’t think like that. If it’s the latter: I’d expect my partner to acknowledge and respect my decisions if it’s clear that I’ve spent sufficient time on building up knowledge and experience in the matter. If she’s curious, I’d take it as a challenge for myself to provide an explanation that can be understood without domain knowledge, thus proving that I actually understand everything myself.
I've spent ten years diving deep into every possible topic related to money too, but Digit is smarter than me, and if she doesn't understand money as well, it's because she's a bit insane, because being that smart is painful.
