If you don't understand what is going on in the Middle East, I can give you the TL;DR:

Nobody likes Israelis. Even Israelis don't like Israelis.

Nobody likes Palestinians, either. Even the Palestinians don't really care about Palestinians.

Iran is also pretty unpopular. Even Iranians don't really like Iran...

Yeah, but we're old and rich and fat, so we don't like warring, anymore.

We're all warred out and looking forward to a retirement. Might take up fishing.

I am currently at a lake fishing, so far no wars, but there has been plenty of needlepoint.
