Following coordination with the International Red Cross, Civil Defense teams entered the Tel Al-Sultan area in Rafah, south of Gaza, on March 23.

Later the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the Israeli army had surrounded several of its ambulances while they were operating in the Al-Hashashin area of Rafah south Gaza Strip, which was targeted by Israeli bombardment.

Several paramedics were injured, and contact had been lost with the trapped team, who remained surrounded for several hours.

16 Ambulance Crew Members have been executed by Israeli Forces.

They were found buried near the barracks. Additionally, all Red Crescent ambulances and Civil Defense firefighting vehicles at the site were deliberately destroyed.
