Does the GrapheneOS on-screen keyboard suck or is it an Android problem? When i press backspace the last two words get lumped together and its always replacing what I type if it is not in the autopredict dictionary.

I think I changed something in the keyboard settings and it turned that off. Sorry can remember exactly what but I too thought that was retarded after coming from iPhone

have the same issue. heard some people install gboard with no internet permission, but I decided to just live with the pain instead

The graphene keyboard leaves a lot to be desired, yes. There are alternatives though.
