Today the norwegian financial press was gathered to "fedwatch", as Norges Bank were presenting their interest rate update for December.
Norwegian pundits were pretty confident; no rate hike today. International pundits were leaning towards a rate hike. When a confronted with this discrepancy a Norwegian pundit stated: "we have the finger on the pulse here in Norway, foreigners don't"
Result: Rate hike
Comment on the result from Senior Economist in DNB (Norway's largest bank): "This is not an exact science"
