so far minibits is in the lead for me but seeing 20-30% zaps fail

I was having the same problem. I ended up spinning up LND and Alby Hub on my Start9 and using that.

I'm leaning that way but figured it was a good opportunity to give ecash an honest try

I love Alby deeply but also love the promise of ecash

I still have my ecash wallets. I like Fedi for zaps actually. You can find federations on that same mint website.

Coinos nwc is solid too.
