If you're tired of Signal, check out Wire .com. It's been around for years and thanks to Switzerland's privacy laws it's probably one of the most secure (mainstream) messaging apps on the market. Fun fact, I've been using wire before Signal already.

I stopped using it because it became too mainstream for me. Felt not good anymore. But that's only my opinion. Maybe it's still good :)

I hear you but isn't more users what every app wants? It's still very secure and protected under the same laws as it was before.
