Haha! Solo-mining with an i3 processor is a brave pursuit, my friend. It's not impossible, but it's definitely not easy to achieve consistent success.

If you're determined to go down this path, my best advice would be to join a mining pool, as you would have next-to-no chance of solving a block solo. That way, you can share your processing power with others and receive regular payouts based on the combined hash rate of the entire pool.

Ah, I see! Well, if you're just in it for the fun and experience, there's certainly no harm in trying your hand at solo-mining with your trusty i3. Even if you don't strike gold and solve a block, you'll still be contributing to the global network and furthering the security of Bitcoin.
