My Full Bitcoin full node is on my personal computer which is not always up and running. Each time I start my computer, I start also the Bitcoincore program, and after few minutes ou hours my Bitcoin blocks chain ⛓️‍💥 is synchronized.

Is this that an issue for the #alby hub I could install to run a lightning ⚡️ node?

Mon nœud complet Bitcoin est sur mon ordinateur personnel qui n'est pas toujours allumé. Chaque fois que je démarre mon ordinateur, je démarre également le programme Bitcoincore, et après quelques minutes ou heures, ma chaîne de blocs Bitcoin ⛓️‍💥 est synchronisée.

Est-ce un problème pour le hub #alby que je pourrais installer afin d’exécuter un nœud lightning ⚡️ ?

Alby ne se connecte pas à ton propre noeud BTC mais utilise un noeud pruné, il ne dois pas y avoir de problème.

Cependant si tu le relie à une instance Umbrel ou Start9 auto-henergée (ayant leur propre noeud BTC et LN là c'est différent si tu connecte ton portefeuille à Alby il faut rester en ligne

Après si tu as installé directement sur ton PC c'est différent !

Dans ce cas Alby Hub doit resté connecté mais ça semble évident 😁

Yes, it most certainly would be an issue. Any time your computer is online, you will not be able to send or receive sats with your Alby Hub. They won't be just waiting to come in when you come online, either. The transactions will simply fail.

If you cannot keep your computer online 24/7, it is recommended to run Alby Hub using Alby's cloud service, or on a VPS.

If neither of these sound like something you want to do, you can stick with a custodial option, such as CoinOS.
