Every resource we need to survive -- food, trees for heat & shelter, water -- is either self-reproducing, regenerative, or naturally recycled.

All we need is thoughtful stewardship, not State "planning and management."

God has given us all we need in rich supply. We do not need the State for this.

"Guard and keep it."

"[Work] and keep it," that is.

I need to learn more about gardening.

Start learning before you NEED it. Your first year with have lots of failures that are learning experiences. Also, it takes a bit of time to get your garden optimized unless you happen to live in one of the rare places with optimal soil and optimal rainfall. Also, if you live anywhere dry or with a dry season, install some kind of automated watering (It could be a basic timer/splitter with a couple of soaker hoses attached.) All it takes is a couple of days at the wrong time and your garden is dead.
