correct i like to have 1 design over all functionality's. If i do not like the design i could write up my own theme and the dev's probably would even love that. I guess our opinnions are a little different from each other. It is the same as dicussing running applications on a vm or not, running it in the "cloud" or local, ... etc. You will never be able to make everyone happy, that is the point. No one prevents development of the "microapps" you say, there are already many many many on nostr basis. We will see the landscape in a few years how it goes. But everything we say now is purely based on assumption on personal preferences, because you do not know (i dont know that too) what people will prefer in the future.
