Had a dental appointment this morning, and the tv in the waiting room had some news channel running. I could hardly wait to get out of there, the utter stupidity on tv is unbelievable. They really have achieved their goal of making the average citizens hate each other, instead of seeing who the enemy really is. #grownostr

Corporate media is so gross!
It is not stupidity it is by design to generate outrage in order to get eyeballs and profits.
I just need to go plant some trees so I can get back to something positive.
My physical therapist's office also plays the news in the lobby, but I've slowly been tuning it out to the point where I can ignore it now.
But one benefit it had was that one day, my parents video called me from Miami. It was the middle of the day, but my mom always there at home instead of at work, and she asked me if I could guess why. Now there are a hundred reasons why she'd be at home that day. But lucky me, the news was showing something about flooding in Miami that day and I happened to catch it. I guessed that, and it turned out the school she worked at was closed because of it and everyone had a day off ๐
