I thought about this when I first heard that Taproot is kinda "smart contracts on Bitcoin". I thought all the shitcoins are doomed, but I guessed not the NFTs will be the first ones to arrive. I hope Bitcoin devs are coming out with a better competitive use case for the scarce blockspace. But anyway this is pure free market. I vote for competition.

We’re gonna see tons of shitcoins on Lightning too. You’ll be able to transfer the original shitcoin (fiat) or a ton of others using Lightning.

At least it will all contribute fees to the mother chain :)
