I went through this exact same thought process. If SHTF, where do I take the gold? It’s not getting on a plane and I’m not crossing any borders without it being taxed or seized. The answer seems to lead back to bitcoin every time.

Ur way ahead of the game for such a “young punk”🤨😉😂, imo. I find it scary how alike we think (…I’m frankly not very proud ⭕️ it🤦🏽‍♂️😂).

I think easily accessible (again preferably not in your home) gold and especially silver has value in bartering and local economies but in a SHTF scenario you ain’t leaving the country and maybe struggling to even cross state lines with it.

All roads ultimately lead to btc if it is what we think it is🤔🫡🌅

I think about scenarios like this often. If you can’t secure your wealth when SHTF then you don’t really own it.

already planning a compact meshtastic radio IP connection, LAN, and solar power setup to run a slow on chain node and perhaps lightning node.

I just wonder if I could reach other nodes
