I really miss jujube yogurt; a bottle of that was one of my favorite breakfasts in China. It was commonly available there but strangely enough, even with so many Asian stores (and specifically Chinese stores) near me, I haven’t found any for sale here.

I had some dried jujube slices and ever since buying them, I’ve been thinking about grinding them up and adding them to my homemade yogurt to see how close I get to the real thing.

It turned out quite brown instead of pink, so I added some goji berries for color and now it looks like vodka sauce πŸ˜… forgot they’re more tomato red than berry red…

the flavor is close but I think next time I’d better sift the ground fruits so there aren’t little grainy bits.
