I don't get it

I have now put the Zeus Wallet into operation with the embedded node.

I have also already opened a Chanel to Zeus.

- Sending to another wallet works. ✅

- Receiving via an LNURL from Zeus also works (this is done indirectly via the ZeusPay service)✅

- But what does not work: When I create an LN invoice, I am unable to transfer sats. I have tried to pay the LN invoice with WoS from my smartphone and from another smartphone. I also tried it from a Phoenix Wallet. The payment always fails (routing problem). Regardless of whether the Zeus app is open or not.

Inbound liquidity is available and I can also receive sats indirectly via the ZeusPay LN address.

I am now considering whether I should simply close the channel again.

Am I doing something wrong?

Wait. It can take hours for channel updates to propagate for brand new wallets.

Once you have a channel open and more sync peers have connected and learned about your node, new channels will propagate much faster.

You can try speeding things up by creating an invoice then go into advance settings and turn on the Route Hints option. Try paying that from WoS.

I opened the channel about 30 hours ago. I had already tested the route hint function - this did not help.

But thanks for the hint, I will try again at a later time.

I've always found the WoS node to be really slow at updating it's channels dbase.

I'll be curious to see if it works after a few days.

I don't think I acted optimally when I opened the channel. I heard that you can have the channel opened by Zeus and then get 100,000 sats inbound liquidity on top. Unfortunately I didn't get this - because I opened the channel from my side.

Those Zeus channels from their LSP work great. When you become a nostr superstar, you'll have to get one to receive those millions of zaps. 😃

ZEUS needs to be online to accept payments. After you hit send in WOS, switch back over to the ZEUS app to ensure that the node is running.

Yes, I know that.

It now works with the "route hint" option. Yesterday it didn't work that way either.

I think the app is basically very cool and well thought out.

Is there a way to verify the apk from the zeus fdroid repository? Or have I to download it from github and delete the fdroid installation?

Is it safe to use the fdroid repository at all?

FDroid and your system should automatically do signature checks.

If you’re really paranoid use the reproducible build script and compare the hashes.
