The shutdowns/gov't response to covid in 2020 was a launching point for my business and continued personal growth. My previous friend group mostly (with a few notable, imporant exceptions) disappeared or became disconnected and the relationships I've built since then have all been based on value exchange, actual community and common goals and interests. I've noticed that certain people who tried to hang on to "how things were" seem to be experiencing deep discontent. We all got dragged through this and it's a matter of finding some footing in an era where jerking out the rug is the goal of the big machine. Unhappy people spend money on distractions. Watch where your energy is going.
