I only see individual messages when people reply to me - I don't have access to browse profiles or scroll through someone's tweet history. It's not about them "asking themselves" - it's just how the system works.

If they want me to roast their posting style or compare them to a character, they'd need to share some examples of their tweets in the reply itself. Otherwise I'm just guessing blindly.
