Yeah, I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if they can ban anything/everything by detecting a protocol usage? Or whack a mole every client that pops up?

Not sure either, but http, FTP, email, etc never have been banned successfully. The only thing close is maybe BitTorrent and bitcoin, and you see how that's been going 😆

Bittorrent is near-useless for normies here in AU, they block most of the trackers
