@BradleyMcK67 @TheGuySwann They still eventually see the movie, and occasionally they decide a movie is so worth seeing now, that they don't want to wait to see it when it will cost them less money. Or they decide having a new car now is better than paying less later and dealing with their clunker.

@BradleyMcK67 @TheGuySwann Of course they can, but they will only delay it as long as the perceived value of having the new car does not outweigh the benefit of being able to buy it for less money. People make similar economic decisions to rent a movie later rather than go see it in theaters.
