They are hoping you use most of your power when everyone else does.
Yeah I guess in my case it would be better to switch to hourly rate instead of overpaying the average. I don’t consume too much electricity during the day so why would I pay ?
I worked for ComEd about 25 years ago. We were always coming up with marketing schemes like that.
