The debt is cumulative (below the axis) .. and revenue is annual (above the axis ) .. right ?
Isn't it like comparing the total debt of #microstrategy with their software revenue 😀 ?
The way strategy has Bitcoin as an asset ( on balance sheet) , US also has tremendous assets .. the freeway systems itself is more value than the entire debt !
The whole point of an organization is to issue debt (or equity) and convert that into assets ... The true comparison is assets vs liabilities ! And if the debt is your own currency ..that you can print ..then it makes sense to issue as much debt as investors are willing to buy .. the problem with most other nations is they can't sell their debt .. US can .. why ? Cuz it is land of innovation .. I think Bitcoin was invented in US .. not sure though ! :-)
