Both my kids go to after school care because both my wife and I work.

The system is you not standing up for your family. Like millions of others not doing the right thing, because it would mean short term pain.

Yea, I definitely think that’s part of the structure that we need to push back against. That said, you are not my target, but rather the parents that avoid parenting and also celebrate their own selfishness as if the kids don’t need them and their decision will not have an affect on their life.
