I stopped contributing to the tax and debt scams before Bitcoin even existed.
How? I left my country and shortly after that I realised that nobody cares about you, your contributions or how you're living your life. The only way to exit the system is by actually exiting the system. If you don't you'll die as a fiat slave and no, Bitcoin wont fix that. You have to fix it yourself.
It's a pity Uncle Sam likes to keep track of all his citizens no matter where they go. Opening a foreign bank account as an American is a huge undertaking, since the foreign banks are compelled by the power of the US Government to spy on you.
Where did you move to ?
Back then I started travelling. Four years Thailand, Malaysia, Laos. Then I spent a short time in Dubai. Came back to Germany, saw it was worse than before so I went to Spain.
Next year I'll be leaving again. Destination still unknown.
