I provide, my wife takes care of the household.

If someone wants to work or needs to, all the power to you but if you don't want to why is that looked down upon?
My belief and how I was raised:
It is the responsibility of the man to provide for his family.
Because the US is swimming in a sea of progressive ideology.
Progressive ideology is a euphemism for communist ideology.
Communist ideology is threatened by families.
Progressive ideology has its roots in Enlightenment philosophy. That was the beginning of "progress". How deeply are we willing to look for the source of the problem? Because now we are talking about The Founders and their ideological roots.

To make enough money for a regular household of 3-4 to work, both male and female have to work now a days because the dollars we work for have been devalued so much in such a short period of time. $1 today only buys 84% of what it did in 2020.

This leads to major relationship issues we have today.
The gov prints, then that makes it more expensive for businesses to operate at a profit leading to unlivable/ low wages then we take this stress home and into our relationships.
We are the victims but playing that roll won't get us anywhere. The hard road leads to solutions. This is the road we must take. The good news is, bitcoin is the solution. Its learning curve to understanding bitcoin is the hard path. Fix the money to fix everything else.

So true. Me and my wife have split the roles and homework and are both happy, we do what we do naturally best. We also have just one bank account and it’s so effective for us. We also have one cold storage. We also have same iPhone pin. Means total substitutability.
I'm not sure why everyone must be the same. My wife and I chose not to have children and both work right now. If we had children, she would certainly not be (unless she wanted to, of course). In which case we'd figure out how to split things to meet both of our needs.
There are many different ways to structure your life and not everyone needs or wants the same thing. Good for you and your wife!
