The advice/lessons I’ve received from the two generations that have preceded me have been contradictory:
1) Go to school, get good grades, get a good job, get married, have kids, save, buy a house. Which has proven to be contradictory in and of itself while not being an early beneficiary of the credit and monetary explosion like my parents were,
AND
2) You’ll never wish on your death bed that you had spent more time at the office.
So no, not buying it. And not living it. But still managing to keep this stupid grin plastered on my face so I don’t freak the family out.
Thank God for Bitcoin. The only thing I’ve done based on my own analysis and independent study of fundamentals, often contrary to others’ advice, that is actually working.
Fuck their “advice”.
