You give these people too much credit. There’s no way they could predict internet porn back then so how could they build up to it? Also, Jung mostly agreed with Freud on everything except the sexual stuff. And keep in mind that the theories about unconscious processes were mostly from Freud. So even though he is wrong about the underlying motivation, he was right about the unconscious processes causing neuroses.
