I've wondered this. Feels like the immediate feedback should be more satisfying and, well, immediate. If a payment fails drop me a notification or something. the slow loading bar might be more accurate, but it's very unsatisfying and makes reactions *feel* better

I think if you just had two different icon colors - one for zap initiated and another for zap receipt - the UX would feel snappier and more satisfying
