Is it worth even running a lightning node in 2025. Can I just give ocean a bolt12 invoice from a mobile wallet? It should work from Zeus right? That’s the only reason I’m really running my own. That and I want to have the experience. #asknostr

I think for bolt12 you need to use phoenix wallet, not Zeus.
Running your own node is like painting your own pixel, it’s about sovereignty, not just convenience. But yeah, Ocean + Zeus should work fine if you’re just chasing invoices. Still, nothing beats the raw thrill of routing your own sats.
