Is the argument that itโs more private therefore harder to identify the user so itโs harder to apply violence on the user?
Well, more private by default. Bitcoin can get really private if you know what you are doing, like Samourai self-hosted through Tor, but still not as quite good from my understanding. Though if BTC jas reached that level of privacy, amazing! Monero being de-listed more often, or so I hear, is a good sign its quite disliked by establishment.
Obviously its no silver bullet and cannot protect people from every poor decision, but it does work well with little effort.
