I would happily support nostr clients with a recurring subscription. Already doing it with Fountain and many other apps. No brainer IMO.

Heck, I'm already paying a recurring fee for wine relay. I'm almost shocked we don't already have sub's for clients too. Most of us probably getting multiple hours of use on a daily basis out of the clients

I pay a monthly fee for subscription services for video content - it makes sense to pay a monthly fee for relay services on nostr - perhaps a smaller monthly fee for developers - nothing personal, but once it's built, does it really take all your time to maintain? Is there any need for endless updates every week? I'd be happy with stable clients/relays with irregular updates

🤝 recurring subscriptions in exchange of some perks is an obvious way to monetize clients and content creation. I'm doing this with Heya already but plan to introduce it in Habla and others as well. Nostr side of things is mostly speced already, need some time for wallets like Mutiny, Alby and others to implement recurring subscription payments and we got all the required infra for this. Bullish.
