Oh in that case yes but what if you never see them at any event and 10 years go by? Will benefit of the doubt still hold true?
Well, my thought was, although I can't attend every event, other people I know will verify people at other events. Obviously nyms that never leave the house cannot be verified like this, but this is the best WOT system we have so far. PGP tried to do this, but the UX is too difficult for most people.
So a completely word of mouth web of trust? Kinda like a long game of telephone?
