I read a post from someone complaining that the USA is no longer feared and respected.
Our country would not need to be feared if it acted in good faith. Instead, it continues to make decisions based on greed, corruption, and self-servitude. There are plenty of places in the world where meaningful relationships thrive without the threat of war. Choosing hubris and unsustainable power preferences will lead to a downfall.

Why does a country need to instill fear in another unless they're acting in bad faith? "We're going to go do things that negatively impact you but you can't do anything about it unless you want the wrath of our weaponry." War is old tech. No one needs war. It's just a way flex. Small man syndrome. Imagine going to war with your wife every time you had a disagreement. Imagine threatening to beat your wife every time she did something you didn't like. It's not a long term strategy.
I would say good pull through tech could solve all of this.
