It's a weird thing to realize I can never be truly honest w my family because:

a) they view my (apt) observations about them as personal attacks

b) they speak of acceptance & claim unconditional love but have made it clear that I do not fit into their version of a Christian, straight, "normal" person

c) they can't grasp that my examination of them is never about judgment per se [due to THEIR default judging] but about navigating & being honest. They just don't like what I see.
