Compute is Lunar's most important export, and hashing is core to the Lunar economy.

In retrospect, it was inevitable that a large proportion of the hashrate would end up here. But earlier today, something happened that no one in the last 138 years would ever have expected.

Other planets are too far away to meaningfully participate in Bitcoin's network. By necessity, they'll have their own coins.

They can't mine, and mining will be more efficient closer to the sun anyway. But they can trade with earth and the Belt, and for that they will need bitcoin not their own shitcoin. Long locktimes solve the time lag problem.
