In most practical use, lightning can only be used to transfer a transaction of 0.015 BTC at a time. Even then, it is very much wallet dependent (the green wallet has failed for example, while some custodian wallets able to handle up to 0.019BTC) and the fees is exorbitant already.

unfortunately, moving 0.016-0.02 BTC onwards is still far from being economical.

the fees still ranges from 13-20USD, which if 0.019 BTC cost 800 USD, you are still paying 2.5% in fees

Over 1m can send on chain

The purchasing power of BTC will make smaller amounts of sats for the purpose of LN

L-BTC has its roll too. Mainly to refill LN channels IMO
