how cool would it be if a wallet could say "hey be careful, this mint didn't pass the audit in the last 7 days"

Really cool. Should probably be standard.

I would prefer at least daily audits.

bitcoin on chain passed this every minute, and 100% confidence in ~10

you build your identity on sand you gonna get washed away

also, i see you use a free relay to broadcast your scammy garbage

just added that one to my list of relays i don't do business with

Uff!! What makes ecash/cashu scammy garbage?

“Mint failed last seven-cycle audit sweep—integrity compromised.” #maketechcoolagain

YES.

Very

This would be the opposite of cool; this might ruin someones day! 😉

Of course if your mint is honest but simply unreliable, a wallet-client alert like this is a very good indicator you should swap out.

“Hey this could be the federal reserve”

Not that cool since the funds would have already been stolen 6 days earlier?

Oh yeah it would be very cool. Here's what that could look like.

Will also add a setting to cashu.me to check the auditor for any warnings when the user adds a new mint to their wallet.

Might even add a paranoid mode that does the check the auditor every time you create an invoice with a mint (i.e. send money to it).
