I've been thinking a lot about the fact that the WEF invited Milei and the Heritage guy to speak. That combined with the Dimon comments makes me think there's a shift in strategy: join and co-opt.

I've read several insightful articles about how the Occupy WallSt momentum was successfully redirected to social justice concerns, leaving the outrage intact and the banks and corporations untouched. If there's an undeniable grassroots populism building all over the world, the WEF et al are probably adjusting their strategy accordingly. Same ends, different approach.

Whitney Webb's recent interview might address this. I'm going to listen soon.
