Took them this long, for anyone to admit that they were right, even though it was OBVIOUSLY right.

I think most of us knew it came from the lab as soon as we found out about the lab's existence.
I really do wonder about it all because everyone around me swore it was just a coincidence that the lab was there, and I was like LOL nah.
The "Just World Hypothesis" is humanity's greatest vice. More than any of the Seven Deadly Sins, IMHO.
But its a vice that only causes problems when practiced as a flock.

I've only read summaries of the report, but there isn't anything in it that I didn't know several years ago and most of it I knew in 2020. They also destroyed their chance of being taken seriously, because they said everything done by government was bad (it was) except Operation Warp Speed was a wonderful example that saved lives and should be copied. Operation Warp Speed was the program that brought us the unsafe and ineffective vaccines, so it can't be a success. By lying on this one point, they made the rest of the report seem political and unreliable.
That was Trump's project, tho. They want to keep their jobs. 😂

His dumb-ass idea of literal helicopter money gave us all 4 years of demand-side price increases and destroyed the logistics chains, by pulling consumer demand forward during a lockdown. Not to mention, the way he brow-beat the Fed into keeping interest rates artificially low. Everyone blames Powell, but Trump is the money printer guy, not Powell.
We are still paying inflated prices for everything, and now production and warehouses are overcapacity, and we're getting layoffs and plant/store closures.

I definitely believe Trump is better than Biden, but that doesn't mean he hasn't made a number of big mistakes. The fact that his ego doesn't let him admit his mistakes is a big problem. Everyone makes mistakes, but the wise people admit their mistakes, learn from them, and do better. Trump does seem to be doing some things better, but he still won't admit he made mistakes.
He does Big Man politics, where it's about being a tribal leader, not a thought leader. Tribal leaders are never wrong because their status comes from their claims to supernatural powers and their willingness to give preferance to loyal members of their tribe.
They don't call him the God King or the God Emperor, for nothing.
