I like alot of aspects of Nostr, except the messaging system. Its slow, unpredictable and no privacy (people can see who you are chatting with)

Thats the good thing about this protocol.

Ha. I mean if I was looking for a private chat I can always use an e2e encrypted chat service. Theres plenty of proven good ones.
Heck even email with pgp will do the trick.
Theres something really wonderful about talking in a place where you have no idea who might see your post. Each and everyone of us in here is like a major celebrity on something like twitter with the amount of people you can reach with a single note 😂.
