Wait a second. Isn’t Bitcoin protected under the second amendment in the US? The right to bear arms was meant to protect the rights of citizens against the state.

Given that the definition of “arms” doesn’t only mean muskets of course, it stands to reason that Bitcoin could be considered arms. So what am I missing?

How do you see BTC as a arm? Free speech might be a better way to go.

Sure free speech may be a good thing to pursue too. But it just occurred to me that the argument can be made that any tool that can resist the state’s oppressive power can be argued to be arms and therefore be protected by the constitution.

I believe we have to see what the states do if they begin to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. Many states and Congress does have bills on the books waiting for an appropriate time.

I believe once the Federal Reserve is found to be in breach of their dual mandate then pro Bitcoin bills will drop.
