Here in Brazil we have two locations named Witmarsum, built by menonites from Germany and Russia.

Colônia Witmarsum (Witmarsum colony) is located in Palmeira county, in the region known as Campos Gerais.

A curiosity about that colony is that it has the glacial stretches left by the retreat of the ice in the region.
